First thing, everbody wants to know of course, when did you start going by Cairo?
That happened once I had moved from Egypt to Florida. I was going to this art high school and skating with a whole crew of skaters that went to the school, and Cairo became the name people called me by.

What was your favorite thing about starting and riding for popwar?
Popwar was awesome, cause I got to do a lot of things I really believed in regarding skateboarding. I also learned a great deal and wouldn't have changed anything if I had a chance to. Being on a team with Kenny was great, even though the dude lives in another country. Pretty much, all the people we had at Popwar at one point or another were great people I really enjoyed working with.

So whats your favorite,  thing about riding for enjoi?
Tilt Mode mentality combined with the fact that I've known a lot of the dudes from way back when I rode for Supernaut. To top it off, there really isn't any pretensions from anyone on the team, which says a lot about what enjoi is all about. I get to skateboard with skateboarders, and we're pretty much all from the Bay Area.

How's the lakai part coming along? I heard your just gonna be in the bonus section of  the dvd , because there's to many people in the video already..
Hah...The reason I'm in the bonus section is because some of my stuff just ain't hacking it. Naw, I'm not sure where I'm gonna be in the video. As long as I get a few tricks in there, I can say I was in Fully Flared. That's cool enough, right?

When you were first "getting your name out der "  who were your favorites?
Brian Young during the latter SF days, Satva Leung, Simon Evans, Marcus Brown, Chris Pole, Rickk and Carroll. These are dudes I was into when I first started get any coverage.

Who are you hyped on now?
Brian Hansen, Dennis Durrant, Corey Duffel, and anyone else who's just
skateboarding.

How much longer do you think you be skating for ?
Not sure. Depends on what level, but I'm thinking I still got a lot of steam in me. Basically I'm trying to get a spot on team toe. I heard they don't have any representatives in the East Bay. Ya'll need to get hyphy wid'it mang!!!

What do you see yourself doing in 10 more years?
Consulting for TOEBOCK INDUSTRIES and raising my daughter.
